The "Dumitru Stăniloae" Faculty of Orthodox Theology within the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iași organized, "by the grace of God", in this year of salvation, 2015, as in previous years, the traditional "Dumitru Stăniloae International Symposium" , reached its third edition. Organized in collaboration with the Theology Research Center "Filaret Scriban" of our Faculty and the Diocesan Center Iasi, the symposium took place on May 14-16, 2015, with the blessing and presence of His Eminence Father Teofan, Metropolitan of Moldova and Bucovina.

The stated purpose of the symposium was, as in the case of symposia organized within the faculty so far, as the theme established and debated in the symposium, through the papers presented and discussions, as well as the resulting conclusions, to determine, as much as possible , a reflection for the members of the theological academic community that will lead to the renewal of...

We want the work of our symposium to be a challenge both for the faculty, as a research topic and in the future, and for the students of the faculty, as a topic for reflection, as a commotion or concern on our part for the work in the faculty to be one, as much as possible, common, teachers and students, and to make the didactic activity, theological thinking and practical service a living and working work. Thanking all the supporters, participants and toilers, we wish, with God's help, that this volume be a new impetus for the renewal of the community of our Faculty of Theology towards the renewal of the Church, which it serves, and for salvation.
