The habit of the spiritual life and the principles of experiential education
Alexandru Creţu's work can be an excellent starting point for explorations capable of developing solutions increasingly adapted to the current educational crisis. It highlights the impact of experience in the formation of the person, emphasizing its importance in learning the spiritual life. On the one hand, places from the Old and New Testaments are brought into discussion, episodes from the activity of the Savior Christ, but also aspects regarding the relationship between disciple and teacher, as they are present in the collection of philocal texts. On the other hand, the principles of experiential education are presented, in the formulations offered by well-known authors for this discipline, being highlighted the similarities and differences that they present in relation to the spiritual life described in the Philocalie.
