Stirring through the corners of time lurk two great dangers: to lose or lose your faith, and advancing on the thread of research I can say that despite the intention to demystify the subject and highlight patterns of premeditated actions with a certain expected result, I had to resignedly accept the miraculous intervention of God's finger, which acts in history and corrects its course.
The present paper aims to recover the sources and to present the historical framework and the relations between Church and State in the interval 379-438, but also to capture the processes that contributed to the crystallization of a framework situation in which the Byzantine Empire developed based on the Theodosian ideological heritage. of Nicene-style Christianity, because Theodosius the Great and his successors have the merit of having changed, against all odds, the direction of Christianization of Europe by eliminating Semiarianism of all colors.
