Tâlcuire la Epistola către Romani
Blessed Theodoret of Cyrus (ca. 393 - ca. 457) is perhaps the only church writer who participated in two Ecumenical Synods (III and IV), actively contributing to their works and decisions through his writings, even if this merit it was later shaded. Through the explanations given to us by Blessed Theodoret in the epistles of St. Paul, the reaching of the life which the Apostle preaches seems easier to attain. The precision of the interpretation leaded to the opinion that this is the best commentary on the Pauline epistles from all of late Antiquity, after that of St. John Chrysostom.
