The word descended among us
"It is difficult for us to believe that there would be Poetry without God. In general, can there be anything without God? - from facts of life, but also works of art, to poetry without which the spirit would be as if dead! It is unlikely that we will find an affirmative answer to this question. The two entities, Poetry and God, are and manifest only together, potentiating each other.
In fact, the poet writes as if he were writing for a single reader: God - the perfect Creator - Who, knowing Himself, does not write poetry in turn, but could at any time do so. He is the great Judge; as Tasso says: "Non merita nome di creatore, se non Iddia ed il Poeta" (Only God and the Poet deserve the name of creator). "
