Not less than seventy years ago, Fr. George Florovsky urges the academic world, and not only, to return to the sources. True, here and there, some succeeded, others dodged, and others remained faithful to the Western model of analysis and writing of a paper. After all, responde ad fontes is not only a simple saying that has become "famous" in the theological-academic environment, but rather a need of us, the Orthodox, to return to the sources we read, confess and consider; it is the return to the great treasure of the Church, of which we should be aware and which we should make the most of.
