Indeed, extreme materialism, which regards death as the end point of life, is opposed to the Christian faith and its expression or experience in the Orthodox Church, through a scriptural, liturgical, ascetic, and spiritual tradition, adding as a wind that brings hope.

Through a very clear exercise, Father Theodore Papanicolaou proposes a very current reflection on the status of death in our contemporary societies.
