From an intimate dialogue with the Gospels was born, therefore, the volume entitled Restless Thoughts - a book of apologetics, full of light, written with pathos and authenticity for those in the boyar palaces, but also for the poor of the sad streets.

From an intimate dialogue with the Gospels was born, therefore, the volume entitled Restless Thoughts - a book of apologetics, full of light, written with pathos and authenticity for those in the boyar palaces, but also for the poor of the sad streets.
Ovidiu Bârsan's book is tender because it talks about the drama of the human condition: the state of abandonment of the lame in the bath of Vitezda, the temptation to exercise power, the need for patriotic models, the grammar of prayer, the provocation of love of neighbor, the public confession of God, the imperative of conversion and death. Uneasy thoughts would have pleased, especially, Father Nicolae Steinhardt from Rohia. Always in search of the essential, Father Ovid delicately touches the strings of his heart and, in a world marked by sadness, brings, without fail, hope. The author's writing is alert, abundant and attractive. The words do not only feed on the great books of the classics, but on the tumultuous experience of authorial life.
If you are out of order, if you have lost your way to the Father's house, if you are tired on the Way to the spring, if you have forgotten the "first love", you have a compass in your hand today. Restless thoughts contain a shout and a whisper: a protest against mediocrity, but also an invitation to vigilance.
