We also introduced in our work the Lives of some Saints of Slavic origin (Russians, Serbs, Georgians, Bulgarians, etc.), as well as Livesof Saints of Western origin, who lived before the Schism of 1054 and whose true faith was proved by the Ecumenical Synods and other Orthodox Synods.

The Romanian edition of Sinaxarul Mare is edited by Arhim. Constantin Chirilă. The translation of the volume for June was made by Dragoş Dâscă.
