We often overlook books that can change our perspective on how we relate to one reality or another. Such a book, meant to change paradigms of thought, appeared at Doxologia Publishing House: "The eye of God - a visual history of some symbols".

The author, Father Hieromonk Mihail Gheaţău (graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts "George Enescu", graduated in theology), proposes to the reader a foray into the history of art and iconography, the work having as central theme the symbol of "the eye of God" and how it it entered the cult of the Orthodox Church, although it was avoided by Byzantine painting, due to its syncretistic character.
